1. (Confession)"Some people would consider the fact that I have never worked in a museum before as a weakness. However, as my recent anthropology degree hopefully shows, I love to learn and am highly trainable and open minded, I have no pre-conceived notions on how to perform my job.”

In addition, although I have no former on-the-job experience, I do bring a recent anthropology degree with over 10 years professional technical and business experience which can only enhance my ability to learn extremely quickly.”
Honestly, I get a little nervous doing public speaking, but fortunately, many of the classes I took while finishing my degree required a presentation along with a project. This really helped me to get more comfortable it and the key, of course, is to be prepared and know as much as you can about what you are presenting.

2. I would say my greatest weakness is overcomplicating the simplest of situations. I tend to add on more that what needs to be. The simplest answers tend to be the most clear.

3. I feel that my greatest weakness is trying to do things by myself with no assistance as well as keeping to myself, in other words I have a tendency to be a bit overly-independent. I am trying to improve by starting a simple conversation in order to get to know my colleagues a little better and create a connection with them for future opportunities.

4. I don't get the opportunity to work with school visits at the moment. However I keep myself in the loop by setting up the activities for the school visits and read feedback reports to how their visit went.

5. I am a bit of a perfectionist and tend to get hung up on small details. I am working at looking at the bigger picture in situations and opening myself up to ideas from others that I may not have otherwise considered.
