"As a data analyst, I have presented to a wide variety of audiences made up of people with differing backgrounds. The groups ranged in size from one person to 25 people, with the larger ones composed of co-workers from different departments in the company. Most of these presentations were conducted in person, but I have presented a few analyses remotely via video conferencing to smaller audiences. In addition, about one-third of my presentations have had audiences made up of senior managers."

It would be ideal if you had experience presenting to an executive-level audience, but this is not always necessary. When describing the types of audiences, including approximate size, whether it included executives, and possibly what departments within the company were present. With the rise of remote work, some hiring managers will expect you to discuss presenting analyses via phone or video conference calls, since these types of presentations can present unique challenges.

Back at ****, I had the opportunity to present in various settings to a diverse audience. When talking to any audience I always make a deliberate effort to meet them at their level without compromising the integrity of my message. Is often the case in which I have to present our findings to management, I make sure to make emphasize the financial repercussions of the proposed solutions or corrections since that is their forte. On the other hand, when presenting to my own team I make sure to focus the message on the math and stats behind my selected variables as well as the logic of my analysis, (this is their forte). Also, I consider the best practice to pay attention to the medium you are using to communicate, it is in person a whiteboard becomes essential while when presenting remotely a visually appealing PowerPoint is a must.
