"During my undergraduate program, I had a group project where one team member was very combative to new ideas and overbearing when it came to giving direction to the group. In this situation, I didn't hesitate to give my feedback directly to the team member one-on-one. Not wanting to single them out in front of the group, I felt a direct conversation was the best environment to let them know how the entire group felt. I learned that open communication was essential to having a great result in the end for our group. Focus on when your work style was different from another person, but perhaps you still had to complete a project together. Discuss, in a positive tone, how you made the situation work. Outline your ability to be a team player and build a connection with others, even if their personality or approach to work is different from yours. At the end of your response, be sure to connect your communication abilities and level of professionalism and how these factors will benefit you as a resident with this institution.
