I work primarily on the maternity unit, where I administer intravenous medicines like morphine and fentanyl for pain relief and assist if complications arise. I administer epidurals and I also administer strong anesthetics for mothers who are preparing for cesarean births. In this setting, I also oversee infusion pumps that patients can utilize as part of their pain management plan."
