In the medical context, I just took an updated CPR course, and it went from the 2:15 compressions to continuous compressions, and I had to adapt to overcome my former way of thinking."

The healthcare system is ever-changing and so are policies and procedures. The biggest and most recent new method or new approach was COVID-19 and how we had to adapt to provide patient-centered care with all the PPE, distancing, and very much needed new CDC guidelines. It is an interesting time we live in and it offers so much opportunity to learn and grow.

This is definitely an example everyone can relate to - and nurses bore the brunt of it! (Thank you!) Technically the new methods/approaches involve the PPE, distancing, and CDC guidelines whereas COVID-19 was the trigger or impetus. Make sure to talk a bit more about how you personally dealt with and adapted to these changes within your workplace. What was hard? What was easy? In what ways did you show a willingness to adapt for the benefit of your patients?
