Primary care tied in with psychiatric care. I believe nowadays more than ever mental health is so important. Even when patients don't have a mental health diagnosis they will always benefit from therapeutic communication. I believe psychiatric nursing has a lot to offer to all other specialties and gives a great base to build other skills onto.
