"I prefer verbal communication because I feel that with written communication, a lot can be misread due to lack of tone, fluctuation, expression and body language. I will always choose a face to face conversation whenever possible."

"I like to leverage both methods of communications when dealing in business. Sometimes, situations call for verbal communications and other times, written. As a rule of thumb, I tend to practice verbal communications, with written follow up or visa versa. Utilizing multiple methods creates repetition and therefore, change."

That's a tough one, as an analyst I love numbers. I believe it depends on the situation. If it's information or advice that needs to be documented, written communication is always best. If it's more casual or I believe there will be a back and forth conversation with numerous colleagues' input, then a meeting and verbal communication are best to start. But those conversations should be documented.
