"Even though I'm not in a direct patient care role, I always go above and beyond to serve anyone I come in contact with. I try to be proactive and anticipate their needs; for example, if I'm working the front desk and getting them checked in, I try to think ahead to questions they may have to provide those answers. If I have a family bring their loved one in for care and they look cold, I will offer to go grab them a warm blanket or warm drink."

"I try to provide holistic care to my patients, meaning not just meeting their physical needs, but also their emotional needs. If a patient needs extra time to talk about how they are feeling or to talk about things going on in their life, I am genuine in listening and caring about what they have to say. I try to find the small things that make patients happy. For example, if they love soda and haven't had family bring them one, I will get them one out of the vending machine (of course once I verify they are not on dietary restrictions) or if they love to read and don't have any material, I will find them a newspaper. I want them to feel at home with us, so I try to go above and beyond to find those little things they miss from their own home."
