As the sole government-funded healthcare service in the entire United Kingdom, the NHS impacts almost every citizen's life within the country. Since they want passionate employees and people who will always fight for the well-being of citizens, it will be important for your interviewer to see this same passion within you. Be sure to look up some of the amazing facts and breakthroughs in care that the NHS has provided throughout its history and come prepared to discuss what among those personally resonate with you. From being the largest employer in the UK (and 5th largest in the world) to birthing the first test tube baby, the NHS provides many great reasons for potential employees to join there.
