I am interviewing with a handful of cardiology programs in the New York area. My personal life is firmly rooted here and I am not able to move, so I am very serious about each of the New York programs. I am particularly interested in Mount Sinai as someone who plans to pursue general cardiology and advanced imaging since that is a particular strength at Sinai. I also think there is value to training in different hospital systems for residency and fellowship so you can develop a fuller perspective of the field.
