I believe greatness and success can be felt and fostered when detailed plans are created and implemented. I am a goal-driven person, so functioning at the highest level takes a great deal of planning and meticulous execution. I equate success with greatness in how that success is accomplished. In order to foster success, and to feel it, you have to get everyone on the same page with the vision, and give them a sense of ownership for their part in it, and make sure they know their piece of the puzzle has to fit perfectly with all the other pieces of the team. When the puzzle is assembled and the big picture looks better than you thought it would, that success combined with enthusiasm qualifies as greatness, in my humble opinion.
