Please describe your experience working with financial systems.
The senior enterprise product manager will be required to work on projects that integrate with the financial systems at Coinbase. Additionally, the products of Coinbase are driven by fintech solutions. Candidates may be asked this question in an interview to determine if they have the experience necessary to understand complex financial datasets and workflows.
Remember to include fintech experience you may have outside of financial trading solutions. Many fintech solutions process data similarly, and any experience in this area may help a candidate become a viable candidate for the senior enterprise product manager role.
"I worked as an analyst for an enterprise applications team that supported our PeopleSoft financials early in my career. We handled all of the upgrades each year and supported our accounting and finance teams. I focused mostly on payroll projects and customer billing projects.
In my current role, I have experience working with the vendor we use for mobile payments. We allow our customers to pay with PayPal, and I serve as the subject matter expert for the integrations with our internal accounting systems."
