"I encourage team building regularly and I do this to help them build relationships with one another. By doing so, they are often able to resolve conflicts among themselves, but occasionally, situations will get escalated to me. In those cases, I take a neutral stance as I speak with each employee individually and I seek to listen to and understand their perspective. I do expect my team to come to me with constructive feedback and solutions and I do not allow for complaining and negativity. I often use this time to coach and help them see things from another perspective and ask probing questions to help them get to a reasonable resolution."

"I usually investigate the situation and speak with all parties involved in the conflict. I do not engage in bad-mouthing nor allow my employees to speak negatively about another. If there is a conflict that I'm uncomfortable with or a situation I feel may need disciplinary action, I immediately involve my HR business partner."
