Now that you have achieved your goal of becoming a cosmetologist, it may seem overwhelming to think about the future. You've been working hard to get to this point, but take heart! The interviewer doesn't expect a detailed answer. They just want to get an idea of how this position fits into your future goals. Do you plan to do hair for a salon for two years and then start your own? Do you plan to get more certifications to focus on color and color correction? What about skincare? Do you want to add on more certifications? Think about some of these questions if you're not quite clear on your goals. Offer up a couple of things you're interested in doing in the future and show the interviewer that this position will help launch you into your dream career!
