"To properly configure a Lotus Notes client, you first need some basic information. This includes the Lotus Notes Client Setup script, an Id File, the client setup's default password, and the Domino Server IP address and name. Once you have these, configuring a client involves installing the Lotus Notes client on a machine and browsing the id file after running a shortcut from the desktop. You then specify the IP address, the server's name, and the client IP address. After completing the steps, the client is configured and ready for use."
