Some options for answering this question include referring to a press release by YouTube, discussing how they embrace AI technology to improve their services. Rachelle's Answer #1
"I recently attended the National Association of Broadcasters show in Las Vegas where I was able to get an insiders' peek at how AI and machine learning are forming streaming services. One of the factors that stood out to me is the fact that AI helps greatly with precise content curation. This assistance is not limited to on-demand video streaming but also more traditional forms of broadcasting, media, and entertainment."
Rachelle's Answer #2
"I have been reading up on AI technology and how it is affecting streaming media. I was fascinated to learn all about how machine learning helps with predicting customer behavior, allowing companies to save money by making educated and pointed advertising efforts the first time."
2.
YouTube has over 1.8 billion monthly users. How do you think we can attract an even larger customer base?
YouTube wants to continue to hold the majority of the market when it comes to subscribers and streaming services. The interviewer is interested in seeing if you have any unique ideas for gaining an even larger subscriber base. Tap into your creative thinking and suggest how you think YouTube could grow larger.

Rachelle's Answer #1
"In the case of YouTube, where you have so many subscribers and monthly users already, I feel that a great focus could be on expanding the spend of those 1.8 billion, rather than zeroing in on new customers. The ones who are already loyal may benefit from other services such as third-party content sales, or podcast streaming."
Rachelle's Answer #2
"YouTube is by far the giant when it comes to video content streaming and on-demand services. To attract an even larger customer base, I would recommend having content that is searchable by language, and then advertising to countries where YouTube may not be as prominent."
3.
What is the most important KPI for an advertising client?
Advertising clients look at a multitude of KPIs when they invest in advertising efforts. When it comes to digital, some crucial factors are:

- Click-Through Rates (CTR)
- Cost Per Action (CPA)
- Conversion Rate
- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

...and many more! Then, when it comes to print or traditional advertising, the KPIs change slightly, and there is more focus placed on things like response rates. Discuss with the interviewer what you believe to be the most important KPI for an advertising client.

Rachelle's Answer #1
"I believe that the most important KPI for an advertising client is the Conversion Rate. The entire reason we launch effective advertising campaigns is to gain a larger customer base. Other KPIs are significant; however, I believe the Conversion Rate to be the most important one."
Rachelle's Answer #2
"In my opinion, sales revenue it the true indicator of an advertising campaigns efficacy. Every advertising client should be able to know and understand if their inbound marketing campaign has brought them more business."
4.
This role with YouTube is highly technical. What is your understanding of this position and the responsibilities that come with it?

The technical requirements that you would like to see include JavaScript and Rich. Rachelle's Answer #2
"My understanding is that you seek a candidate with exposure to technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Druid, and ElasticSearch who can train junior employees. I am an expert user in all four of these technologies. Do you have any questions about my technical expertise?"
5.
Describe to me the types of digital media you are most experienced with.
There are a plethora of digital media forms today, and the interviewer would like a breakdown of the ones with which you are most familiar. Some types of digital media include images, video, gamification of many kinds, social media, websites, online channels, and more. Speak to the forms of digital media you are most experienced with while being sure to address the types listed in the YouTube job description.

Rachelle's Answer #1
"In my current role, I work primarily with online channels such as YouTube and IGTV, creating video content. I also have experience working on projects related to gamification ads.
