Much of the substance of the encounters involved educating healthcare providers about efforts to help prevent the spread of HIV so that they could, in turn, provide more up-to-date statistics to their clients. I would like to explore opportunities to be more involved with community education regarding HIV research and options for treatment."

Yes, my former clinic was in an area where many are underserved and poor. I would reach out to neighboring schools to ask if they would like a presentation to better educate everyone about safer practices. I also volunteered my time and experience. I would like to be more involved in the community.
