Question 3 of 30

What makes you feel fulfilled in life?

"Just doing the right thing for the right reasons. For example, friendship, or relationships in general, should be unconditional. You don't keep a tally of favors done for favors owed. You help someone because it's the right thing to do. That's it. That should be gratifying enough. So, my integrity makes me feel fulfilled. It's like the Dalai Lama said, karma is best defined by our self-fulfilling or self-afflicting emotions. If you do something crummy, those negative energies immediately afflict us. That's instant karma. It can affect our psychology, physiology, mental health, and physical health. Doing something kind or out of integrity boosts your mental health, your physical health, all of it. So, I feel fulfilled by following these principles in everything I do."

  • 3. What makes you feel fulfilled in life?

      What You Need to Know

Offer something fulfilling that can relate to your personal and professional life, but avoid something generic or ambiguous, such as 'a job well done,' which will sound insincere. Remember, you want them to get to know you and to stand apart from the other candidates.

      How to Answer

While preparing for your recorded on-camera interview, keep in mind that your surroundings are also a reflection of you as a professional. You'll want your focus to be on you and not on your background. Make sure your space is organized, free of distractions, and work-appropriate.

"Growing up as a kid, I appreciated accolades a lot. As an individual, I get fulfilled whenever I’m able to complete a task. I have a scorecard book where I tend to record my wins (big or small). I take time to check this record to keep myself motivated and receive a personal accolade."
