"I manage my time by keeping my eye on the big picture. It begins when I leave work, making sure my gas tank is full, stuff like that. At home, I'll pour myself a glass of wine. I have one every night. I'll put on some fun music and choose my wardrobe for the next day. I'll set out my vitamins and line up everything for my morning. I program my coffee maker, make my lunch, then make sure my alarm clock is set. Then I'll concentrate on dinner. I do a big batch of cooking on the weekend, so my meals are planned for the week. The next morning, I wake up to soothing and energizing music, grab some dark chocolate from my bedstand, and spring awake. I listen to the traffic alerts and cruise through my morning listening to music that will set my mood. I'll arrive early to work every day, say my hellos, check my email, and clock into work. I have a strong sense of time and how to fit everything into my day and am forward thinking in this regard without fail."

Gaining insights into how you manage your time will reveal how effective you'll be at your job. Not preparing for your morning equates to not preparing for your workday, putting yourself at risk of showing up late to work. Not managing your workflow or projects risks missing deadlines or potentially putting in unnecessary overtime, or taking your work home with you. That could result in extra stress, low job satisfaction, feel overwhelmed at work at home, which could be a catalyst for not sleeping well, fatigue, and burning out. As we know, the assessment vendor and hiring manager are looking for the best of the best and will use every performance indicator at their disposal.
