At first thought, you may think honesty is always the best policy in terms of ethics and integrity. However, in the workplace, some things are better left unsaid. Being a thoughtful, cooperative colleague may require you to withhold some opinions and/or feelings. It is wise to keep some things to yourself, especially if they could hurt the workplace morale or culture. It is best to consider honesty whenever your personal ethics or integrity come into the equation. Talk to the interviewer about your thoughts on honesty in the workplace.

"Sometimes full disclosure can damage someone's self-esteem, and reality isn't always best expressed in full and can be self-indulgent based on the person's intention. In those instances, honesty isn't always the best policy. However, I will always commit to honesty in terms of giving my best effort, telling the truth, and remaining true to my personal values and morals."
