"As my career and experience in software engineering has grown over the years, I've come to really appreciate and utilize these tools that are available. A great example of this would be my recent education and use of Structured English for designing insurance claim software for a large auto insurer. The simplicity of the structured decisions in the program were a perfect example of a program that could utilize the tool and the end product ended up very functional for our customer."

I have worked for three years on SAS and python as part of my professional commitment to Barclays. Since it's a bank and data privacy is a major concern. Hence, SAS licensed software was used more. They have been used to analyze large chunks of data and gather business insights. The tools we used for extracting the data were MySQL, Hadoop, etc. As part of my academics, I have utilized Python extensively to work on 1 million records and data points. I became more and more comfortable with Python in my MS. As part of the data visualization tool, I have worked on MS- EXCEL (using Pivot Tables and Graph), and tableau. I am currently learning power BI as well as it's trending in the market.
