"Early in my career in the banking industry, I worked with a colleague that was very distracting with her negative talk of other people on our team. It was very unfortunate at first that she was my mentor when I first started and from my very first day on the job, I realized what kind of person she truly was. Being new on the job, I didn't speak up or Rquestion her right away. Rather, I chose to get to know the remainder of my team to truly realize how toxic her talk was.
