"I have approximately 1-year experience in the acceptance of construction materials. In my current position I accept deliveries, ensure the accuracy of the orders and I also quality check the accepted materials. In my next position, I would like to be involved in the ordering of materials as well as the vendor relationship building that comes with that."

I don't have experience in ordering the materials and equipment, but as a site engineer, I have reduced the wastage of those things by optimizing the use of them. I can remember one incident working as a site engineer when the wastage of steel was beyond the limit, and I suggested a way to use the scrap steel to the client. They approved my suggestion and the wastage decreased to 3%.
