First Aid and CPR training is required for many airline industry roles. If you are new to this industry but have a similar hospitality or customer service background, you should know that Southwest airlines provide training in this regard. "Flight Attendants receive basic first aid instruction during initial training and every year during recurrent training." However, the more experience you have in this regard, the more desirable a candidate you could be. Explore the offerings of your local municipality, and you just might be able to find training for free or at a minimal cost. If you could enroll in a course, at the very least, it would convey you are taking this opportunity very seriously.
