Your interviewer is curious whether you have leadership potential, or any interest in growing into a leadership position. So whether you have an interest now, in the distant future, or aren't yet sure, identify your style of leadership and determine whether it aligns with the style of leadership they pride themselves on. Explore all the potential leadership opportunities this position could present. Doing so will help you align your career goals with what they have to offer and showcase your work ethic in how far you've gone to prepare for your interview. It will also advertise that you would be a strong "ambassador of our values, who strive to bring the best out in their colleagues, even in challenging situations."

"Although I have never really held an official leadership position, I pride myself on being a clutch player. As I see it, it is my goal to deliver an outstanding customer experience while making my leaders' jobs easier. So I am constantly anticipating need. Too often I find myself in positions where my leaders, knowing they can count on me, delegate the chief responsibilities to me, and that frequently involves directing or leading others."

Being a leader at Virgin Atlantic means being able to lead and motivate your teams to be at their best as our people sit at the heart of our airline. In order to support our future growth paths, and our aspiration to be 'the most loved travel company', it is vital that we recruit leaders with the vision, skills and creativity to push us forward. Leadership isn't always easy, but it is tremendously rewarding. Especially in a company such as Virgin Atlantic that believes our people are central to our success, and makes us, quite literally, who we are. We look for leaders who thrive on the success of others and actively look for opportunities to help others succeed."

My leadership stems from my reliability and work ethic. Colleagues know I am meticulous in my work. I joined _________ in March. By May I was considered a lead and came 2nd to my colleague of 18 years to go to Tokyo to train. I inspire follower-ship in my role I don’t just show leadership and that’s why I believe I go far.

Great job including the timeline of how quickly you were considered a lead! Can you go into more detail about your responsibilities and duties in that role as well as how many team members you led? That will help the interviewer better understand your abilities.
