Virgin Atlantic states that "challenging ourselves to do things better lies at the heart of everything we do." How you answer this question will help your interviewer assess how you cope with stress, and how adept you are to multitasking and shifting priorities without losing progress on any given task or having to perform unnecessary rework. They advertise that when working with them, you'll have the opportunity to "thrive on the success of others and actively look for opportunities to help others succeed. You'll be equipped to handle a fast-paced environment, keen to hear others' views, but ultimately be comfortable taking accountability for your decisions." Assure the interviewer that you respond professionally in such situations without difficulty, while aligning yourself with their values and brand.

"The airline industry is full of sudden changes, most frequently, when flight times are changed or there are problems with a passenger or with the plane or gates. This impacts everyone schedule when it happens. I roll with the punches and respond positively and swiftly when such changes are occur. I am great at adapting on short notice, and think quickly on my feet."

All the time. As I work in an airport currently with 38 easy Jet flights a day I am constantly dealing with delays cancellations and issues with aircraft. The bottom line is I’ve got a job to do and until I’m told it’s not what I need I will be flexible to the needs as I am told them. It’s one of the most exciting and challenging things in the industry - and I’m already used to that.
