If this question is proposed to you during your interview, you will likely be providing direct tutoring to students as the next Academic Support Coordinator at this institution. Ideally, your interviewer will be looking to hear that you have direct experience tutoring students at some level. If you do have this experience, talk in detail about the age of your students and the subject you tutored. Be sure to mention something that you liked about each tutoring role you have been involved with. If you don't have direct experience providing direct 1:1 tutoring to students, that is okay. Be sure to talk about what you feel are the important experiences, skills, and qualities you would bring to the role in providing direct tutoring to students.
