Building trusting relationships with students will be a key aspect in the role of an Academic Support Coordinator. Explain how you build rapport with students and end your response with how this benefits the students. You may want to consider building culture, trust, or a sense of belonging amongst students.

"Absolutely, rapport is essential. Students respond positively when they feel cared for and feel a genuine connection with who is working with them. The same is true for an Academic Support Coordinator too. I build rapport by getting to know the people in their lives during one-on-one talks. I also build rapport and trust by following through on my word and by listening and responding to students and colleagues alike. My word is only as good as the actions that reinforce them, and so I make a point of following through on my commitments to the best of my ability."
