"In all honesty, this was something that I dreaded early in my career as I had a fear of public speaking. But over time, I've gained a lot of confidence. For me, preparation is the key to successfully delivering a presentation. I make sure that I am confident and knowledgeable in what I am presenting. I prepare ahead of time for questions that I think will come my way. Then, when it comes time to talk and present, I like to focus on talking to one or two people at a time within the crowd. This was a technique that I learned from a former colleague, and it works great for me."

I am very comfortable leading workshops. In my current position, I was often tasked with attending professional development and presenting the information that I learned with my fellow colleagues. It was through these experiences that I was able to practice my public speaking skills. I made sure that I was prepared and ready to answer any questions.
