How to Answer
Volunteer if you're willing to travel for work or have done it before. If you're not open to traveling or prefer not to have a long commute, don't say 'no' straight out. If you weren't aware that this was a prerequisite for the position, ask if it is. Tell the interviewer you're interested in the job and that you'd be open to discussing it further. Ask more questions about the position and be flexible and open to negotiation.
