This is another question that tests your comfort level in sharing the company knowledge you've hopefully researched prior to this interview. Not only will your answer be evaluated for its accuracy, but the algorithm will evaluate how naturally you speak and whether you stutter, pause, look up while trying to recall information, or glance down at your phone to look up the information. Additionally, you'll only be given roughly 20-30 seconds between being asked and when you have to answer. That's not much time to prepare and not enough time to look up the answers. When the camera starts recording, you want to look relaxed and ready for it. At that point, you'll get roughly three minutes to record each answer. Depending on the question asked, some may take longer than others to answer.

Approach the HireVue interview as you'd study for a test. Prepare in advance. Research, study, memorize, and be fully prepared to ensure you get an A. Practice in front of your camera as much as you can, especially since your eye contact and performance will reveal as much about you as your answers. It helps to have the correct answer, but go the extra mile and try to score extra points wherever you can. This will suggest a strong work ethic by going above and beyond.
