At Air New Zealand they say, "Seek to bring distant horizons closer. Once near, seize them and make them your reality. As a flight attendant, you will get a great work/life balance and lifestyle. Air New Zealand is very unique in that it gives employees the latitude to make their own decisions, we are not a company that micro-manages. You have enough empowerment to make decisions that impact results. A degree of self-reliance and confidence to make that decision and be able to back it up is essential. It's like having your own business. It's a place that promotes fun with productivity and the opportunity to learn with our in-house training program Up-skill."

"I am most motivated on the job when I feel like an active contributor and an important member of the team, when tasks are organized, and the vibe is positive. I value strong teamwork and good leadership. When I feel listened to and valued, I am excited to do my best work."

"I have an adventurous spirit. Being able to work while travelling, and taking part in launching people on their next adventure, or delivering them home from their most recent adventure, is a rush for me. My favourite is when you can tell someone just had a sporty adventure. When they're coming back, all tan and dirty. You know they didn't look that way when they started. And sometimes, you recognize them from their initial flight, and there is a before and after. I love that, and I enjoy asking if they had a nice trip. It is a very motivating and inspiring thing to witness."
