Your interviewer is trying to assess how much effort you've put into determining whether this particular position is a good fit for you and your goals. They want to ascertain whether you've identified this as a step up in your career or if it is another stagnant move as you bounce from job to job, complacent until something better comes along. You can convince your interviewer that this position is the right challenge for you by using actionable words. Speak about how you've identified this as the right opportunity for you through your research on their company and this job. This will convince them that this does indeed fit in with your overall career goals.

This position offers the next steps in my career and the growth that I am ready for. Early in my career, I strived to get to gain analytic experience in big companies. As the field of data science and analytics is arising, it is what I am waiting for years. My Master's degree in Analytics equips me with more advanced analytic skills and statistic models. I hope to continue that career path with Air New Zealand and am excited about the opportunity to do so.
