This question aims to reveal how satisfied you are with your job or career. How you answer this question could indicate whether you left your previous position, hoping your job dissatisfaction won't follow you to your next, while you pine for a career you are more passionate about. A hiring manager will be able to tell a lot about your personality by learning about your other career interests. Therefore, they want to know if you could do anything over, what would you do, and why?
As Air New Zealand advertises on their website, "Becoming part of our cabin crew is a lifestyle choice. Your office is in the sky. Never be bored. Our people love the freedom it gives them to fly around New Zealand and the world - exploring new destinations and cultures. Travel to different places. New adventures every day."

Rachelle Enns is an interview coach and job search expert. She works with candidates to perform their best in employment, medical, and post-secondary admission interviews.
"I certainly do not regret the direction I have taken my career; however, if I had to start over in a new direction completely, I would likely pursue my Degree in Education and become a teacher. Both of my parents were teachers, and they seemed to have a very fulfilling career. I enjoy coaching and leading others, so any tasks in my current career related to these skills are very welcome."

I certainly do not regret the direction I have taken my career; however, if I had to start over in a new direction completely, I would likely pursue my Bachelor's Degree in computer science. With the degree, it will be easier to start my career in Data Analytics, and I enjoy working with computers. When I was about 12 years old, I read books and built a cyber network with other neighbors. In reality, I reach my goals with my persistence in broadening my data analytic skill sets. And I will keep going.

Rachelle's Feedback
