Question 27 of 35

What is your first reaction when you do something wrong in your work?

"My first reaction when I do something wrong at work is to own it. How can anything be repaired if nobody even has a chance to fix it? In the first month of my current job, I realized that I had misquoted a customer a price that was too low. Knowing that the consequences could have been pretty bad in this situation, I immediately contacted them back and explained that I had misquoted them and took the time to apologize. While they were certainly a bit disappointed, they thanked me for quickly following up with them."
