"In my previous role, I was fortunate enough to introduce my company to the idea of a gold level service where, in addition to our general customer service, we included service options. Our customer base responded very positively, and we kept the program running for a few years."

"In my current position, I create new products and services nearly every week! The most recent product I created was an application that generated and stored unique passwords. Our customers received it well, and we are expanding on the product now."

Our hotel was looking to expand its Wedding business. We created an Outside Catering Package that allowed the hotel to capture the International Wedding market while maintaining revenues for the hotel. This provided a means for cuisines of other countries to be catered into the hotel by licensed and insured caterers.

Talk about your specific involvement. You mention 'we' - was this innovation your idea? Did you manage the project? The interviewer will have a lot of questions.
"Our hotel was looking to expand its wedding business. That is when I presented the idea of an outside catering package that allowed the hotel to capture a bigger piece of the wedding market. What this meant was, our hotel would allow outside caterers to come in for weddings, so long as they were licensed and insured. This idea was implemented, and we increased our wedding-related revenues by 54% the following year."

Our hotels in London did not have standards for site inspections when the potential clients came and see the properties. That is when I introduced a standardized site inspection guideline for the hotel team that involved offering a healthy juice mix on arrival, greeted by the hotel manager, getting the event spaces ready as if there was going to be an event soon, showing the company logo on TVs in the rooms that are going to be visited. We have seen great feedback from potential clients and the sales team was able to convert site inspections to contracted businesses 33% of the time compared to 15%.

Excellent! This is a stellar response because you clearly outline a situation that you were able to drastically improve. And then you prove how much better you made the process by including the numerical statistic. The interviewer will undoubtedly be impressed.
