The interviewer wants to see how thoroughly you researched their company before attending the interview. The amount of research you perform can be a direct reflection of your level of engagement in the interview process.

"I know that Expedia Group owns the most popular travel brands, including Hotels.com, Hotwire, Travelocity, and Orbitz. I have used your brand VRBO many times when booking group trips that require home rental services. My experiences have been wonderful, and I often recommend the service to friends."

"I researched Expedia before applying and did even more research before meeting you today. The brands that I am most familiar with under the Expedia group of companies include Hotels.com, CarRentals.com, and Trivago. I have used Hotels.com many times for travel in my personal life and for business. I always appreciate the cost savings and appreciated the easy-to-use interface on the mobile app."

Oh, sure. There are Hotels.com, Travelocity, and Trivago. Those are the top ones, but I realize that there are at least five more big names that are part of Expedia Group.

Rachelle's Feedback
You have done your research! Great response.

I know that Expedia Group owns the most popular travel brands, including Hotels.com, Hotwire, Trivago, and many, many others. I recently booked flight tickets to Greece from expedia.com. This is my main booking service since it's the easiest and fastest for me as a user.

Rachelle's Feedback
It's always a fantastic idea to give a specific example of a time when you have used the company's services. Great response!

I know the Expedia.com and cheapTickets.com for ordering the flight tickets, hotels.com for hotel booking. I used these apps many times.

Rachelle's Feedback
It's nice that you added in how you've used these apps before. Try adding in something that you enjoy about the experience. I have added a revision, below.
"I am familiar with Expedia.com and CheapTickets.com for ordering flight tickets. I am also familiar with Hotels.com for hotel booking. I have used these apps many times, and they have saved me a lot of money in the past."

Expedia has a total of 13 brands and I know very well about expedia.com of course which I've used many times. Actually, I've booked my leisure trip to Bermuda in 2019 on Expedia.com. I bundled the hotel, which was Fairmont Southampton, and the flights. Such a smooth booking experience and a great time on the island! Hotels.com, vrbo which is mainly for vacation rental bookers, hotwire which I've used in the past to book Le Meridian Paris for new year celebrations, and Egencia which is the corporate travel agency subsidiary of Expedia. Trivago, Cheaptickets, Orbitz, Travelocity, Carrentals.com are some other brands under the Expedia group of companies.
Marcie's Feedback
Nice job! As long as your response here is correct, it should satisfy the interviewer. Embellishing your answers with personal anecdotes of how you've used the various sites yourself will strengthen your response even more.
