Expedia's careers site presents a multitude of opportunities within technology. The interviewer will likely have an idea of your educational background from your resume. Take a few minutes to bring the experience to life for them! Talk about your major and any special academic recognition. Discuss the strengths you gained during your post-secondary training and how those skills will be used in your new position with Expedia.

"I recently completed my Diploma in Information Technology. I also have a great deal of on-the-job training and certifications, all listed on my resume. One of the biggest take-aways from my post-secondary experience was learning how to manage my time while working on multiple projects successfully. I perfected my multi-tasking skills, and I look forward to bringing those to work for Expedia."

Well, at one point in my life, I felt I was not using my mind enough, so I got into IT. I was a Network Engineer for seven years, where I got a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator) designation. I enjoy the technology field and can speak intelligently about it.

I plan to complete my bachelor of data science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2022. During this time, I took courses in statistics and computer science. I took courses in python, java, SQL, etc., and completed several projects in the classroom. Out of class, I also participated in the Kaggle "Jane Street Market Prediction" competition and won a bronze medal.

Great! You've done an excellent job here of explaining your post-secondary education. Consider also talking about why you decided to go into the data science field and what about it interests you. (You want to show the interviewer that you're passionate about this industry.) Mentioning some relevant classes that you took helps to show the interviewer that you're qualified for this role. Your bronze medal win is also impressive. Nice job!
