      "It's 50/50 for me. Personally, I like to work with someone that has been in the business for a while. Anyone can sell a product but it's keeping the client happy is what is important to me."

      Good answer! It is thoughtful and fair. Can you give an example of a colleague who has been in the business for a long time who builds meaningful relationships with clients? You might discuss how you look up to this person and aspire to be like them. It would also be a good idea to emphasize that you also recognize how important performance is and that ultimately it comes down to closing sales. Show the interviewer that you think both performance and experience are important in retail sales. Great job!
