What leadership qualities do you possess?
USAA has a leadership program that allows employees an opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities and understand what it takes to be a leader. USAA wants to see that you will take interest in leading the way, even if you are not in a leadership role. A great way to approach this question is to provide an example from your current role and previous role on how you showed this skill.
"I feel that I am good at motivating a team. I know that USAA is looking for employees that possess that motivation. Last year, I motivated my sales team every day, and we ended up being the top sales team in the company for the year."
"I am great with delegation and using each team members strengths to get the job done. I don't have any formal leadership training and I know that is something that USAA offers. I would love to be able to get into formal training for leaders to capitalize on those skills."

I believe that I am a natural-born leader. I am able to take charge of a team while still making sure they feel appreciated for their work and contributions. In my current role, I am a lead host and it is my job to run the shift and delegate duties. I think when you show respect you get respect naturally and in doing so I was given a raise and made a company-certified trainer.
