At USAA we prefer to hire individuals with longevity in mind. Where do you see your career 5 years from now?

USAA invests in each employees' career and offers learning and development opportunities for long-term employees. Interviewing, vetting, and hiring a new team member is an expensive and time consuming effort for any company. Assure the interviewer that if you were hired on with USAA that you plan to stay long term and what you could see yourself doing.

"As you can see on my resume, I have strong tenure with my previous employers. I would love nothing more than to find a long-term home where I can naturally grow. Over the next 5 years I would love to be promoted within USAA as I prove my strengths and abilities. I know that USAA values continuing education and I look forward to the opportunities that come from that."

"In 5 years, I am really looking to expand upon my existing skill set. I understand that USAA has amazing learning and development opportunities and I would love to be able to utilize those opportunities to have increased responsibilities at USAA. I am not so much looking for a job title, I am looking for a role that utilizes my skills."

5 years from now, I undoubtedly see myself not only being still with USAA but also in a leadership role. My goal is to learn more, expand on my current skill set, and become more of an asset to the company so that I can reach that longevity.
