How often do you take work home with you?

Some roles at USAA will require that you put in the necessary time to get the job done. Sometimes, that may include overtime or work after hours. With that being said, USAA also values its employees and promotes healthy work/life balance and leaves time management to the employee to manage. Talk to the interviewer about how frequently you take your work home.

"I make sure to utilize my work hours very efficiently so the only time that I take my work home is when there is an extremely stringent deadline. I would say that, overall, I take my work home maybe twice per month. It's all about being diligent with your time in the office, and I know that for this auditing role at USAA, I would need to be flexible."

"I will take my work home with me anytime I feel that a deadline may be close. I would much rather work overtime hours than let a client down. I understand that sometimes I may have to do that at USAA to make sure a deadline is fulfilled, but I am extremely flexible and willing to do so."
