Do you feel performance should be rewarded over experience?
After reviewing the website at USAA, you will find that it is a very customer focused and results oriented organization. With that in mind, assess if you feel you should be paid based on tenure, or results. Discuss this with the interviewer and back your answer with an example, if possible.
"I feel that employees should be paid, and rewarded, based on their performance. A new employee would be greatly motivated through being rewarded for performance and it encourages a healthy competition with tenured employees. I do also find that is motivates excellent customer care, as I know that is important at USAA for all positions."
"I feel both performance and experience should be equally rewarded and weighted. I know that USAA has multiple ways it rewards its employees. I admire the service and recognition programs at USAA and think that this approach is what I am looking for in my next company."

I think that both performance and experience should be considered. Everyone learns differently and at different paces so someone with no experience could be hired and given a raise in no time because they are good at what they do. I think along the way everyone should be rewarded for their accomplishments and I know that USAA has a lot of service and recognition programs.
