"My ethics were tested while working at a retail store. I saw an employee put some items in her purse without paying for them and then leave on her break. I went to the break room to ask if she would like me to ring the items up, and she told me she didn't know what I was talking about and to mind my own business. I cannot tolerate people who lie and steal, so I told my supervisor about the incident. They replayed the surveillance cameras and saw I was telling the truth. After that, she was fired, and I received a promotion to Assistant Manager."

"My ethics were tested when working as an insurance adjuster. I had a client who asked me to falsify their claim so they would get a larger check. I refused and explained that I could lose my license and go to jail for falsifying documents.
