The interviewer at Cardinal Health would like to know how you can win your new coworkers over if hired for this role. Building trusting relationships from day one on the job will prove your ability to be a teammate full of trust and integrity. When coworkers do not trust those they work with, it can cause employee morale to drop and create internal issues. Your job in the interview is to assure the interviewer you will have no problem earning the trust of your coworkers based on past performance.

Talk to the interviewer about how you plan to earn the trust of your new coworkers should you be offered the position.
Here are some ideas on how to build trusting relationships with your coworkers:
- Show common courtesy. Say hello, hold the elevator door, bring coffee now and then
- Be respectful in your communication, avoid over-cc'ing unnecessarily in emails
- Avoid being a distraction, and respect the use of their time
- Respect their personal space and the line between work life and personal life
- Always ask if they have time before diving into a conversation
- Try to find the answer to your questions before running to ask a manager or coworker
- Connect with them on LinkedIn but avoid more personal social media platforms
- Treat everyone the same, regardless of their job title
- Do not complain about your job to your coworkers
- Reach out to new employees and make them feel comfortable
- Own up to your mistakes and fix them
- Be timely with your follow-ups and meet your deadlines

The best way to earn trust is to do what you say you'll do. From day one, I intend to meet with everyone and earn their respect by following through with my obligations on time and as described. I'll continually communicate with the group to make sure I'm meeting expectations, and that includes asking for help when something doesn't make sense because I'm the new kid. Own my mistakes, and never cc the entire company and their grandma's on an email that really only needs the attention of one or two.

Jaymie's Feedback
These are all great strategies to help build relationships and trust with your new team members. Good job!
