A pandemic is a global disease such as SARS or COVID-19. We play an important part because we admit people into the country, so it's our responsibility to properly screen them. It's CBSA's job to protect the border whether it's land, sea, or air.

Rachelle's Feedback
Your description is clear - good work! If you are aware of any special or new pandemic-related efforts put in place by the CBSA, it would be a nice addition to your answer. For instance, I traveled from Calgary to Toronto in Sept. There was some new technology to help ensure that travelers with an illness were not boarding planes (forehead scanners for temp, etc.).

Your reply is clear, and it's evident that you understand the role that the CBSA has taken during COVID-19 and will continue to enforce long after. If you have seen any exemplary responses from the CBSA during the pandemic, this is a good opportunity to discuss actions that have left a positive impression on you.

A pandemic is a disease/infection that is universal and growing in every country around the world. I believe CBSA plays a major role in a pandemic, as they are serving as the first contact with our country for any outsiders. Having the agents trained for additional screening and keeping up to date on the ever-changing guidelines is essential to keeping Canada and the public safe on all fronts.

Rachelle's Feedback
Very good! It's clear that you understand the important role you will play in protecting Canada should you join the CBSA.
