"I served in the Royal Canadian Navy as an Enlisted Officer at sea for five years. For that reason, I have the greatest interest in CBSA's marine operations. I have a degree in Maritime Law and a strong level of interest in international regulations and governing bodies at sea. With that said, I am eager to join CBSA in any uniformed division. I am willing to grow and learn, earning my place with the agency as seen fit."

I can work in any division comfortably. I have worked at an airport, and I'm very often in touch with customs and immigration. For these reasons, I would be a an asset in an air capacity. Either way, I'm enthusiastic to try any division and will put my utmost effort into it.

Rachelle's Feedback
You show great confidence when you say that you can work for any division comfortably - this is a strong opener! You qualify yourself nicely for 'air' by leveraging your existing experience and skills. Well done!v

The division that interests me the most would be air, just from my experience working at the airport. I enjoyed the environment and getting to interact with people from all over the world. However, I would be more than happy to join CBSA in any of the three divisions.

Rachelle's Feedback
You display a lot of flexibility and willingness in your answer while still highlighting that you have valuable experience in an airport environment. Good work!

Without having more in-depth knowledge, or having been presented with the opportunity to test my strengths with air and marine divisions, I feel land monitoring is of greatest interest to me. Due to my extensive knowledge and being familiar with automobiles, inside and out, I feel that I will have a higher sense of any irregularities that may be presented. That being said, I will take on any position within the CBSA with the utmost willingness and eagerness to learn that position to the best of my ability.

Rachelle's Feedback
I like how you intro'd this response. You are firm that the land division would be your greatest area of interest while leaving your opportunities open as you learn more about the air and marine divisions. This is smart! The strong familiarity you have with vehicles is a valuable transferable skill, so it's great that you point this out clearly.
Anonymous Answer
I am most interested in the areas of land and air monitoring.

Stephanie's Feedback
You'll want to strengthen your response by providing specific examples of why these divisions are most appealing to you.
Anonymous Answer
The division with the most considerable interest to me would be air, this is because I have spent more time in airports than at a land or marine border. Also, this would be the best division to meet individuals from all over the world. That being said, I would be excited to work in any division and would not have an issue being placed where needed.

Jaymie's Feedback
You answered this perfectly! You shared your preference, then demonstrated openness and a willingness to go where needed.
