"As you can see from my resume, I spent my entire undergraduate years working in retail and was promoted to a manager in just two years. As a manager, being adaptive to change was a vital skill as we were continuously dealing with new products, pricing changes and market changes. During this time, being open to change was the first step for success. I always keep an open mindset for how to do my work, and I know this will be important as an Administrative Fellow. The next key to success during change is teamwork and communication. When new information would come, it was vital to communicate changes to all staff and do so promptly."

Prior to your Administrative Fellowship interview, think back to some times you had to adapt to change quickly and come prepared to discuss how you handled the new changes with ease. Keep in mind that your examples can come from any prior work experience you have or during your schooling. No matter what example you use, it is important that you emphasize that you are well aware of the fact that your work as an Administrative Fellow will entail frequent changes and that you will come to their institution ready to handle any changes with ease.
