"Coming out of high school and heading into college, I pursued a degree in business administration to keep my career options open as I had an interest in finance, economics, and marketing. During my fourth year, I did an awesome internship with a small clinic and got to see the positive side of clinical administration. This sealed the deal for me to pursue my MHA, where I was excited to be accepted to a great program. During my MHA program, my favorite courses within data analytics where I learned the fine details of healthcare informatics, data analytics, and decision analysis. I can't say that I had any coursework that was my least favorite, but the HR Management side was tough for me to grasp at first because I hadn't had any formal training or experience in that area prior to joining my program."

Prior to your Administrative Fellowship interview, put some thought into what your favorite courses were during your schooling and where you struggled. During your interview, talk openly and honestly with your interviewers about your post-secondary education. Discuss your high points and the more challenging points and also highlight any accolades you received during your undergraduate and graduate programs. This is a great time to discuss any clubs, groups, or organizations that you were involved with.
