I feel very fortunate to have been taught the ACHE Code of Ethics during my MHA program and I know that I have a moral responsibility to build a trusting and respectful environment for patients, a workplace that is equitable and healthy for all staff, and an open and supportive environment to community members. If my ethics were ever to be challenged by your organization, I would take time to think through the situation and come up with a solution that follows these guidelines. If this decision meant that I had to have a difficult conversation, I wouldn't hesitate to do so in a professional and respectful manner."
